I begin my radio amateur career around year 2000 after being on air with CB/Packet Radio. Before that interest to radios grow by building small own direct conversion receivers and listening world of AM transmissions when I was child.
I’ve always been interested digital modulations and other methods to transfer information on the bands.
One of my favourite hobbies for years was receiving APT weather satellite transmissions using simple station with crossed dipole antenna.
Just now most of my ham radio activity is related to use digimodes like FT8, VaraAC, Winlink, WSPR and DMR.
